Wednesday, May 25th--Students from TCHS Theatre program and School-Based Youth Services visited Broadway to see the Tony-nominated revival of Ntozake Shange's play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow is Enuf. Shange graduated from TCHS in the 60s. It was absolutely brilliant! Thursday, May 26th--Dallina Garro Montanez was awarded the New Jersey Governor's Award for Arts Education for costume construction. This was her second consecutive win! Friday, June 3-Sunday, June 12--The senior production of #Viral: A Short Play by Maria McConville will finally be available for viewing. Filmed in November, this piece's viewing has repeatedly been put on hold. We are excited for audiences to finally see this powerful work about the consequences of words, actions, and posts. This will be followed by the induction ceremony for the International Thespian Society and the presentation of the TCHS Theatre Awards. New inductees:
