We have started our 2021-2022 school year with a bang. This year's incoming Theatre I class is 30+ strong and full of creativity and energy. The Theatre II class has merged beautifully and creating their own bond. Theatre III has created senior videos to be released this week on our YouTube channel and picked their productions for their season as a theatre company. More on that soon. Keep an eye out as we move forward throughout this year.
Congratulations to all the theatre students who were a part of TCHS class of 2021. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

TCHS Theatre Award Winners
We are launching our new YouTube channel. This will house student-written work, award ceremonies, promos, bloopers and more. Basically, anything we do that doesn't need a licensing agreement can be posted to our YouTube channel. All ticketed productions will still be done via On the Stage's ticketing platform and will not be recorded to our YouTube channel.
We start today, June 18th at 7PM with the International Thespian Society induction ceremony for Troupe 8266 and our theatre awards. Subscribe to our channel by clicking the button below.
Only 84 schools participated across the US, and Trenton Central High School was one of them. The students will take the exam again with the new changes. The plan is for this test to be released publicly across the nation next school year and for students to receive a certificate in basic technical theatre endorsed by two national organizations. The Association for Career and Technology asked Ms. Brown to write an article for their online magazine Techniques. You can read the article here
This award is given annually by the Career & Technical Education Association of New Jersey to a teacher who has taught a CTE program for three to five years. Ms. Brown has now been nominated into the Region I level which will be decided in April. Being that the national event is in December Ms. Brown is considered the winner for 2022.
