TCHS Theatre will be presenting "The Lightning Thief" as its spring musical. Based on the Percy Jackson book series, this is the story about young people who struggle in school because they are unique...they are demigods. Auditions for "The Lightning Thief" start Tuesday, November 14th during third block and lunch. You will be assigned a specific time and receive a pass to do your audition and return to class or the cafeteria. Please sign up for your audition by clicking this link. You will need to prepare a monologue and a musical theatre song for the audition. If you need guidance on choosing or preparing your monologue or song, please see Ms. Brown (the theatre teacher) after school on Nov. 3rd or 6th. The first rounds of auditions are on Tuesday and Wednesday (the 14th and 15th). Callbacks will be on Thursday and Friday (the 16th and 17th). Though the play centers on Maria and Tron, there are characters from all over the world with one thing in common...trying to find the "rhythm of America" so that they can be successful, safe, and/or accepted.

What is Prodigies Theatre Company? Created by the 2022 TCHS Theatre III seniors, this theatre company's mission is as follows: "Prodigies Theatre Company is committed to creating and providing a safe theatrical space for young POC adults.
